How to organize the work of several web applications on a site in ASP.NET?

I am interested in the following question, how to design the structure of a website correctly in Visual Studio 2012 + ASP , provided that I have four web applications that have certain tasks, + they must spin on one site (IIS + ASP + REST + SPA) , but must be independent of each other, although they may share libraries. The main thing is that it should be possible to work with these applications independently (in VS2012), by including the application as a child element of the project, if necessary, the programmer can work with the application independently of other applications.
As a result, you should get a website with a list of applications, when you go to which, we get the application to work with its data, modules, api, access rights.

Why make it so complicated?

I thought for a long time whether to answer this way, but having doubts about the correctness of the answer, I will still advise you to look at the integrated pipeline mode in IIS. As far as I could understand from the documentation, in integrated mode, each directory of one site can work according to its own web.config, which, as it were, allows you to realize the stated goals. Unfortunately now, in short, I could not find the documentation in which I saw an implementation example, but on the topic I advise you to refer either to Mike Wolodarsky's blog ( mvolo.com ), or to www.iis.net resources.
Sorry if I couldn't help.
