How to organize many-to-many on pure K/V (NOSQL)?

Actually, the question is about many-to-many organization for pure K/V (minimum nosql without bells and whistles, but maximum V is not infinite).
For example tag(s)<-->article(s).
There are several options - but damn it - which one is better?
