I have windows 8.1 and usb wifi adapter tplink wn725n and android smartphone (supports wifi direct). The question is how can I organize the transfer of files between a PC and a smart phone via wifi so that the speed is maximum (wifi direct or something), and not equal to the speed of my Internet.

Install Total Commander and LAN plugin from Google Play on your smartphone. Your computer has an ip-address on the subnet of the router (look in its settings). If you connect from a siartphone, you will be asked to enter this address and your Windows account name, as well as the password for this account. All tested on Windows 7.
