How to organize a remote desktop?

An initiative came from the boss:

Now support for remote clients is carried out through TeamViewer, and this is often a problem, because. many customers refuse to provide. We need to find a tool and integrate it into our software so that there is approximately (?) the following algorithm: the user clicks on the "Remote technical support" button, some unique number is displayed on the screen, he calls us and calls this number, then we connect (inside the software) and then the work goes on, as in the teamviewer.
maybe there will be other ideas ... (I described the implementation from our accounting program Info-enterprise).

Can anyone give me some ideas...?

1c_connect uses some kind of Dev version of some program similar to TeamViewer, and this program is distributed by the developers themselves, of course, not for free.

You create your own VPN server, create a package into which you stuff the configured vpn client and VNC server. Send the packet to those to whom you need to connect. Next, connect via VNC through your VPN server.
