How to organize a mobile workplace from a stationary PC and Macbook Pro?
Hello,
I have a desktop PC running Ubuntu and a Macbook Pro.
The task is to make sure that code editing is carried out using a Macbook Pro (intellij idea), but compilation of projects and their launch on a PC?
Java projects, build - Maven, Docker containers
1. Monster project and build on macbook will be too slow.
2. Editing code using file sharing - slowly, periodically falls off
3. I didn't like working through VNC either
4. Running intellij idea on Ubuntu and working through X Forwarding is very unstable.
One of the problems I've run into when editing remote code using file sharing (or a more advanced version - using a local git repository) is that when debugging tests, local compilation of projects is required.
Maybe there are other ways to organize it?
