How to organize a font selection menu and its options in JavaFX?

I am learning JavaFX. On the form (grid.add()) I put a TextArea object. I put text in there. How can I make the font selection menu, font color selection and font size selection a little to the right of the TextArea?
And most importantly, how to do this for the selected line in the TextArea?
