How to properly organize a catalog (portfolio) with a large number of images (more than 800) most conveniently and quickly on a site running on bootstrap?

Bootstrap itself means little here, the main thing is the image storage structure.
800 is not so much, but if it is temporary, then it is worth predicting how much is expected in the future, and if more than a thousand, then it is logical to group files by 10-100 into a directory, in the form of a tree structure, from 2, 3 levels nesting.
