How to optimize the log file 1C 8.2?

Good afternoon, dear connoisseurs. Tell me how to properly reduce the size of the log 1C 8.2. The fact is that the file of the database itself "base_name.MDF" - occupies 511 MB, and the log file "base_name_log.LDF" - 16669 MB and it keeps growing "swells". Only 3 users work with the database.

Good evening. The most common reason for a log file to grow is an incorrectly chosen recovery model and/or incorrectly configured database and transaction log backups.
Most likely, you have selected the full (full) recovery model - it is selected by default for user databases and provides the largest number of transactions in the transaction log. At the same time, the log is not automatically truncated in this mode.
You can see which recovery model is selected, for example, using "MS SQL Management Studio" in the database properties on the "Parameters" tab.
For this recovery model, cutting the transaction log directly depends on backup and if it is not done, the file will only grow.
