I want to put a background video on the site. I downloaded a video from the drain, but there is a size of 35mb. How to optimize it, reduce the size? First of all interests - what program? If you come across - I will be grateful for the advice.

For a web page, you want H.264 (supported even by coffee makers) or VP9 (better compresses). For encoding, I suggest Handbrake , it supports both codecs. Actually, Web presets are also there.
