How to open NAS for outside access and bind to your domain?

There is a 3 TB WD MyBook Live, on which I installed the ownCloud server according to the instructions from here . Everything started up nicely, the device pleases terribly, ownCloud works quite fast. BUT this is only for the home network. The task is to access it from the Internet, preferably as a subdomain on the domain: owncloud.mydomain.com.
Tell me, is it possible to implement this if the IP of the house where the device is located is dynamic (all ports are forwarded)?
Just did not face a similar task, I will be very grateful for council.

As a result, I solved the problem using the FreeDNS service , setting up the inadyn client on the MBL itself in this way .

The technology that solves the problem of accessing a device with a dynamic IP by domain name is usually called DynDNS.
The meaning is this: some software on the device knocks on the server of the DynDNS service provider known to it in advance, introduces itself and authenticates, after which the provider updates on its DNS servers resp. records.
Requirements: availability of the DynDNS client software on the device, registration of an account with the DynDNS provider.
Perhaps your DNS provider already has a DynDNS service (and if not, then set up forwarding without any problems).
For the WD MyBook, you will need to install a DynDNS client on the device and do some configuration (keywords: $Device_Name dyndns). You generally have a machine on Debian, you should not expect severe problems.

Everything is done very simply! Dynamic ones do not work for me on more than one router In the NAT furnace !!! We will work on IPV6!!!
Put the penguin on the car on which OwnCloud will stand!
then write "ping6 ipv6.google.com" through the terminal, if it doesn't ping, then install miredo, I installed it on my ubuntu like this "sudo apt-get install miredo" this damn thing will help you make an IPV6 tunnel on top of IPV4! Installed? ping again "ping6 ipv6.google.com" op op op ))) packets ran )))) further in the terminal "ifconfig" and there appeared a new interface teredo called well, with the ip address you'll figure it out, it's written there alone))) don't forget it now not IPV4, otherwise you will look for some 156.145.14.56)))))
your IP is now like "fe80:0:0:0:200:f8ff: fe21:67cf"
We checked it all in order to find out if it is possible to use IPV6 with your provider... If everything is pinged and everything is fine, now let's get down to business)))
1. Go to the broker's website - www.gogo6.com/freenet6 register there , start a domain!
2. Install the GoGoc client from the broker's website on your server, it will make a tunnel from you to your new terrible domain like "you_domain.broker.freenet6.net" like miredo. But in addition to this most terrible domain, you now have a "white ip" so to speak, but 6 versions of the protocol. Only on ubunut I noticed such a cartoon that if you run gogoc on your own behalf, there will be one ip, I stuffed it into autoload from root, and my ip does not change now. I have never trusted just restarting the necessary services on win or *nix, always severely "reboot"
In fact, everything) now you can do "ifconfig" you will have another "tun" interface, or something like that you will see in general))) your current IPV6 address is written there)))
you can try to open it from the browser)) )) I use the DOT TK service )) they distribute free domains in the .tk zone, but I don’t care )) the main thing is that it’s not necessary to write doher in the address bar of the browser)))) I set up DNS records everywhere and connected it all through another CloudFlare service ) ))) I haven’t reached SSH yet, but I don’t need it so it’s safer, and even more so, this GoGoc and TeamViewer hang on my server in autoload, so there’s nothing to configure after restarting the machine. If you need help write to [email protected] and I will help you))))) by the way pentagon-area.tk- this domain of mine is now working according to the scheme as I wrote now, you can take a look. This server is in my house in the pantry so as not to make noise under my ear. The NAT provider is full and I did not buy IP from them ... this is so for information
