How to open files with Whatsapp messages with .crypt12 extension from a computer?

1. Due to lack of space on the smartphone, I had to delete and clean everything. Before that, I copied all kinds of folders to the computer. 2. Now whatsapp message histories are urgently needed and this is a complete pipets. I can't open anything from my computer. Google is really not alo. I tried some kind of hacker prog, so there is some kind of key required. What the ..? I tried to send encrypted chats back to my smartphone - the result is zero. What to do how to be? Specially downloaded from the phone to the computer, so as not to bathe with backup! The second question looms: If I transfer the folder with chats from the phone to the computer, then the extension of these dialogs will be with .crypt? Like automatic encryption?
Again: I think my messages are .crypt12 files (example: msgstore.db.crypt12 )
How can I see the history of my messages if there is a smartphone from which they were once deleted and the presence of these files themselves on the computer? And since such a fable, then if I don’t have a smartphone, but the folders are left? (Several years ago, the phone was sold, before the sale, too, downloaded all the folders on the computer)

You can decrypt .CRYPT12 only if you have an encryption key, which is usually stored in the folder: /data/data/com.whatsapp/files/key
If you only have files from the SDcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder, then you can calmly delete. Decryption without a key will cost significantly more than encrypted messages.
