How to open an old Bitcoin wallet?

I found a 2010 bitcoin wallet on my disk, I want to check if there is something there)) I
downloaded the latest version of Bitcoin Core from the official website. Downloaded blckchain before 2012. Changed the wallet.dat wallet file to the one I found. But when you start the program at the "wallet check" stage, a window appears with the title "Error" without a description with a single "OK" button, which closes the program.
1. This wallet file is definitely working, last opened in 2011.
2. This wallet is definitely from Bitcoin, not from another cryptocurrency.
3. I tried to run the program with the "-rescan" parameter, it does not start.
4. I tried to import the wallet through the console built into the wallet, after restarting the wallet.dat size remains the same 88 KB, although the "old" one weighs about 110 KB.

You can download an earlier version of the client, if the latter does not cling. Let it sync from the network normally, and not put the left base, then replace wallet.dat, it should work.
