How to open access to a specific resource group?

Please advise:
In modx, you need to give the user a role with access only to a certain resource folder and all its subfolders and files.
I tried in two ways:
1) Move this folder to a separate context, create a group with access only to this context.
And to define the user only in this group.
2) I tried to leave the folder in the web context, create a specific resource group, bind the folder to it.
In the user group, gave access to the resource group.
In any case, it always turns out that if there is access to the mgr context in the user group, then the user sees too much, and if not, then he is not even allowed into the admin panel.

You are wrong. Here you can see about user rights settings - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXjtMIbWSbU&list=P...
But look carefully with setting resource groups and contexts (web, mgr) for which you configure access, it seems in the video tutorial, he did not check, as a result, the access of an unlogged user, in my opinion, the group needs to specify access only for the mgr or web context (try, in general).
I did a couple of months ago, everything worked.
