How to open a link (shortcut .lnk) through the console?

I'm using git bash, which is sort of like a remake of MINGW, how do I follow a link on windows? (link.lnk)
Thanks in advance for your reply!
upd: Too lazy
to write every time

cd d:/development/another/big/and/long/path/its/become/boring/to/type/this

I want to do it, like on unix'e symlink, so that just cd dev and throw it along the path above.
But through ln - does not want to work (creates an empty folder and writes that there are no rights, although I run it through the admin).
I made a shortcut for windows, how can I navigate to it now?
