How to name the client correctly in openVpn when generating a key?

When we generate a key for a client, there is a "client_name" parameter.
./build-key client1
What is the custom name for the client? Could this be his email? Or something like "client_#{id_from_base}"?

Any. But if many clients are planned, it is better to immediately provide for some kind of notation for some division, so that later it would be easier to navigate.
