just the speed of reading / writing and became decisive in making a decision.
1) the system is on ssd and works pretty fast
2) this PC is used as a server for tasks ranging from watching a 15-20 gig rip on TV, ending with a hosting platform for running projects, it is also possible to organize multi-user terminal sessions (I give access friends to be able to download something, etc.). Previously, a torrent client, with 3-5 simultaneous downloads, simply died from the fact that it did not have time to dump downloaded files to disk and could easily slow down the download speed from 10-12 megabytes / sec to indecent 50-100kb until it dumped everything to disk and so on in a circle, after moving to raid0 this problem disappeared)
and about the question: I deleted everything superfluous from the raid and moved it to free space, I will re-create the raid and that’s all, but it’s very sad that they didn’t come up with an adequate method to remove the hard drive from the raid (I understand it would be long, but still)
