How to move from the old site to the new one?

Hello, in general, we have an old website, it has been promoted for a very long time, but morally and externally it is very outdated
. We have developed a new, modern
Rak. Now we can safely move from the old to the new?
That is, you need to leave the old domain unambiguously.
I have only one idea so far, it will take a lot of time to transfer the seo details to a new one, I think it might be better to place it on the house of the same domain, only in a folder
. , and then place a pop-up window on the old site with the fact that we have a new site.
So it will be correct?
Or are there even better ways?

Hello
1) You can update the site design without changing the site engine. Those. just put a new face on the old site - it will be beautiful. In general, it will not affect the position of the site in any way.
2) You can update the site design and change the engine, while maintaining the old logic of the site URL. Those. you had an article at site.ru/article1, and on the new engine also do everything site.ru/article1
3) If you really need to set new logic, you can either at the site level (if there are tools for this), or on Set the server config level to 301 redirects.
Those. you had an article site.ru/article1, now it is at site.ru/home/item1 - a rule is written that tells the search engine that if a person goes to the address site.ru/article1, he gets to the page site.ru/ home/item1. All positions are also saved and everything will be fine.
If the site structure allows, then you can set automatic rules using regular expressions. If everything is bad (which is more often), then you have to write a rule for each page. We had a project where we had to write redirects for 5000+ pages.
Ps Your option with a pop-up and so on is a drain of all positions, as a person enters the site, gets some kind of left banner, the person leaves the site, or moves to a new site. The site is losing ground. So do as I told you above.

You deploy a new site on a subdomain (or in a folder), close it in the robots, bring it to mind, and finish what you need.
At the end of the work, open robots, direct Apache to the new version as the main one (if hosting, then they often also have simple means for redirecting).

What you call "seo details" is all the current (on the old site) URLs that are in the PS index. If you change the url, it will be a new page that does not have that "weight", and "everything acquired ..." will give 404.
Therefore, if it is not possible to use the old urls (up to the character!), You will have to do 301 for each url redirect to new url. This should not be too difficult for developers (most often).
In any case, the new site will somehow affect the position in the SERP, not necessarily up, but I really hope)) although you save everything and everyone, the structure of the tree, the position of the content and its elements will change ... Something will be removed / added, affecting the density of occurrence of keys relative to the entire page, etc. In short, there are many things to consider.
And you say "I'll create a separate daddy here" ...

If you do not want to lose positions in the search engine
1) Done on the same domain
2) Old links are redirected to new links neatly (for example, when using rewrite).

Elements and content must be transferred
From all old links, make a 301 redirect to new ones

Vice versa. The old one is in the old folder, and the new one is on the domain.
The old one, of course, will have to be shoveled all over for links written in the page code.
The easiest way is to generate links to old addresses, which are 302 issued to the address in the old folder. This is especially good because going from somewhere to the old address will not produce a 404.
