Good afternoon. There is a working site, written in ASP, lies on the hosting. You need to transfer it to VPS. We rented a VPS with Windows Server 2003 from reg.ru. There was nothing on it except for the OS. Installed IIS, a simple test html page is available from the Internet. Uploaded site files to the server. Question - where to import the database and how to connect to it? Before that, I did not work with ASP and windows servers, only php.
They said that in order to connect, you need to have some source files of the site, change and compile there, but what if they simply do not exist?

The file web.configshould have a section connectionStrings, that's where the connection string to the database is stored
