How to move a site with only some Auth-code?

Things like that... The office took several domains of "daughters" for itself (they dabbled in direct work, well, that's not the point). Hosting was also decided to change. The hoster gave some Auth-code. Allegedly, they can be entered somewhere in the settings of the new hosting. The old hoster is STRATO.de

Does anyone even know what it is and maybe suggest a new hoster who can steal domains in this way?

these are the domain transfer passwords.
At any registrar, you choose not to order a domain, but to transfer (transfer). That's where you'll need them.
PS. When transferring, the domain registration is always renewed, for which it is paid.

Auth-code, also known as EPP code, is the code required to transfer (transfer) a domain to another registrar. In addition to it, you must confirm ownership of the domain and wait 5 days after the start of the transfer procedure (some registrars allow you to transfer a domain without waiting 5 days).
Auth-code has nothing to do with hosting change. Those. you can change the registrar, while staying on the same hosting. Or you can change only the hosting without changing the registrar.
If you want to move completely, i.e. change the hosting and domain registrar, then you also need a hosting password to help you transfer the content. Usually new hosts offer this service for free. 1.1 If yes, then you need a hosting password (ftp, ssh, control panel, whatever) 1.2 Choose a new hosting
Those.
1. Decide whether to change hosting
1.3 Ask the new hosting support to transfer the site
1.4 After a successful transfer, point the domain to the DNS of the new hosting, support will explain you the details.
2. Decide whether to change the registrar
2.1. Choose a new registrar
2.2 Unlock the domain (unlock)
2.3 Often you also need to turn off whois privacy (if the forward mail specified in the huiz does not work)
2.4 Pay for the transfer with the new registrar (the domain will be automatically renewed for 1 year)
2.5. At the new registrar, drive in Auth-code, aka EPP code
2.6 Confirm domain ownership. You will receive an email with a link, just click on it.
2.7 Wait 5 calendar days, or ask the current registrar to give up the domain without waiting 5 days. All foreign registrars have this function, but not all provide such an opportunity.
