How to migrate projects from TFS2010 to TFS2015 keeping commit history?

There is a need to transfer all projects from TFS 2010 to the new TFS2015
MS itself offers a long way to upgrade:
first update SQL
then demolish TFS2010
install TFS2015
run the miraculous update wizard and cross your fingers to wait that everything will turn
out I would like to know if there is a way similar to git ? when you can clone the whole\part of the project into a new repository.
well, that is - to take everything that is and somehow transfer it to a new one, preserving the entire history of changesets?
