How to migrate mysql database?

Please help! Flew Debian, all my attempts to revive - were in vain. I plan to reinstall.
To do this, from under Windows, which is on the same screw, transfer the necessary files to an external hard drive. Cope with everything except mysql databases. How to transfer them?
I would have done it if I had access to phpmyadmin, and in the absence of such it is necessary to transfer the files.
How to do it? /var/lib/mysql copy and then just replace after axis remount?

Well, yes. Ideally, the new OS should have a muscle of the same version, since you are transferring binary files.

well, in addition to this, it would be necessary to copy the muscle configs from /etc

If there is innodb, then simply copying the bases on the fly will get everything broken. Therefore, the safest way is to install mysql of the same version or newer and migrate it via mysqldump.
