How to migrate from Angularjs to Angular?

Hello.
There is a large application in angularjs. I saw about iterative moving to angular through a hybrid approach. Is there any point in trying? How painstaking work? Does it live in hybrid mode?

We in the company are slowly migrating to TS + angular-decorators, quite calmly. The front is huge, everything works great.
Keep the old code for yourself, and write the new one more or less normally.
