How to mass reinstall the system from Windows XP to Windows 7?

Hello! What's the best way to bulk upgrade a system to Windows 7 on a corporate network that has over 500 PCs running old XP?
Employee workstations in Active Directory and Novell.

Set the role of Windows Deployment Service, raise DHCP, upload the image of the required Windows and add drivers.
I myself use it to deploy new machines (on 2008R2) - I need to get the machine out of the box, plug in the network cable, turn it on and set the machine name on the server. Windows System Image Manager is debugged in such a way that the language is automatically selected, the disk is partitioned, etc. (installation does not require any intervention), and then the group policies install the main programs and scripts for administration

Installing a new configured system over the network. Google for "windows deployment service".
Updating will be much more problematic and time-consuming.
And why 7 and not 8?

You can do this:
1. Lay out the contents of the Windows 7 disk on the server and share it.
2. Run Setup.exe from all computers and choose to save files to disk during installation. *
Note:
*. Thus, during installation, access to the distribution kit will not be needed and this action can be automated through remote access.
IMHO:
For me, XP is much better than 7 .
There are fewer resources and it works faster.

It is necessary to raise the deployment service (loaded over the network - take an image - install). You can use Windows to dig in the direction of Acronis products.
