How to map a network drive from another domain using GPO?
Good day, actually immediately to the situation and the subsequent question.
There are 2 domains, domain1 at the company and domain2 is DC for terminal servers.
Domain1 and domain2 are in the same local network (openvpn), dns servers are different.
Domain1 and domain2 use different accounts and the ADs of these two domains do not interact with each other.
ps 2 domain, in principle, is not really needed, this is an inheritance that I will redo later.
There is a folder with shared access for the department in domain1, they drop documents into it and then use it in domain2 on the terminal server. From domain2, we can access the shared folder in domain1 by ip + path to the folder and naturally specify domain 1 credentials for access.
Now the question is:I want to connect a network drive domain1 to domain2, how can I implement this moment through GPO so that when connected, the drive asks for a username and password from the user?
At the moment, the disk is trying to access the folder (network drive) with user data from domain2.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
