How to manage cooler on Linux/Asus C90S?

I have an ASUS C90S laptop with Linux installed. The coolers are very noisy, I would like to adjust the speed programmatically to reduce the noise.
Through the BIOS and the video card driver on Linux, there is no access to such functionality, as well as through the Green With Envy (GWE) program. The lm-sensors method (losst.ru/upravlenie-kulerom-linux) doesn't work either.

Any advice on how this can be done (if at all)?

If you can’t use sensors, well, what else can you advise? Solder an adjusting resistor with a wheel :)
Fans usually make noise for a reason. Either from overheating or from mechanical problems.
