How to manage Citrix remotely using Powershell?

Installed Citrix Remote SDK Powershell on local machine. Do I need to use Enter-PSSession to connect to the Citrix API to connect to a server with Citrix? Is there a way to connect directly to the API?
For example, to connect to AD, we do not use a connection to a remote terminal, but go directly to AD. Is it possible to connect to Citrix this way?
