How to make wireless usb adapter dlink DWA-140 work?
I bought an adapter, I poke into usb. I couldn't find win7 driver. The laptop does not have a CD, so the disk does not fit.
I download drivers from offsite, run the installation. The installation asks to insert the device and click "Yes". Inserted. The installer does not see it. But in the device manager, the device is lit without drivers. I poke to update the driver. I show him the folder with the driver. Does not find. What am I doing wrong?
py.sy. The light on the adapter never came on. USB port is working.

The usual procedure for installing drivers. It was not necessary to stick it before installing the driver, but it's easy to fix:
1. Plug in the USB adapter. In Device Manager, it shows in yellow.
2. Remove from Device Manager.
3. We take out the USB adapter.
4. Run the driver installation.
5. When the installation asks to insert the USB adapter, then just insert it.
