How to make unique product descriptions?
Suppose my online store has 1000 parts. All parts differ from each other only in the name and OEM code. But the description, according to the idea, is the same for all 1000 products: "Suitable for ... Produced by such and such..". Only the OEM part code changes in the description.
And now the question is - will search engines perceive all this as non-unique text (copy-paste)? Or is it enough to change at least 1 word/number/number in the product description to make the description unique?

For a large number of products with the same description, even if only written by you, this will be a lottery. By itself, the importance of the product page in the eyes of the search engine is low, so leave it as it is, but for the most significant products, do EVERYTHING by hand. And titles, and description and photo + description to them. Thus, you will increase the chances of appearing in the issuance of this particular product.
With the rest, it will turn out like this, the rest will be duplicates and will not appear in the search results.
In other words, no more than a few pages (depending on how much the description differs) of a product out of 1000 will participate in the ranking, the rest will be ignored or heavily downgraded due to duplicates.
Yandex and Google have different ways, but are approximately similar.
With such a quantity of goods, it is worthfocus on landing pageswhere unique text is simply required, usually these are category pages with a list of products. But keep in mind that in the list of products in this category, it is desirable that the headings of the products also differ as much as possible.
Only on pages with a unique description, or category pages, it is worth pouring all traffic from advertising and links should also lead not to product pages, but to category pages.
(provided that the site has many categories and each has 1000 products or more). For small or young sites, all this may be different, SEO is a rather slippery topic to assert or guarantee something ...
To the previous answer, maybe a little off topic, but for seo: I did home repairs, I need info on puttying and painting. I fill in questions in the google search engine, open several sites, not in the order of output on the page, but on the first page of the query.
I go, read, first, second, third .... and in 3 sites there are only slightly different pictures, a little design is different and almost none, and carbon copy text to the letter ... and they are in the top, no uniqueness in design, not in the texts...how is this even possible???
And what difference do you look for anyway, not by description, but by name or they are code
