How to make ubuntu not use laptop battery when plugged in?

Hello! Installed ubuntu on Asus K501U laptop. Even at 100% charge, it does not start working from the network, it continues to use the battery. The battery is not removable. To keep the battery working longer, it is recommended not to use it if possible. How to be in this situation?
It would be great to set it up so that after charging up to 100% and working from the mains, it does not use the battery even if the level drops to 98% (calculation error, etc.). When disconnected from the network goes to the battery. And if you connect it again, it starts charging up to 100 and the cycle repeats.
I would be grateful for any advice

@xtala

Put Windows next to it in dual block and look at the behavior, if it behaves the same way, then this is not a bug, but a feature.
