How to make the simplest http authentication on lumen?

It took for my mini-project on lumen to make literally one page for the admin to add news. And I just can not find a simple solution for authorizing this very admin. There are some monstrous packages with api and user tables around. Tell me: how to light an admin session in just two lines and check this session? Checking the login function.
It is not entirely clear: where to put a pair of login / password for the admin (or two admins) and how to transfer the admin data to the session.
