How to make the root user the default? So that you can simply log in with a root login and password and not write all the time sudo su. Thank you.

In Ubuntu, the root user account is disabled by default. To unlock:
1. Set a password via
2. Allow the user to login by unlocking:
3. Check the shell for root in /etc/passwd , should be /bin/bash or something similar.
4. DO NOT DO THE FIRST THREE POINTS! BY ALLOWING WORK UNDER ROOT'OM, YOU PUT YOUR SERVER UNDER IMPACT.
