How to make the /home/ folder appear as a separate drive?
Installed ubuntu on ssd. I did everything according to the instructions. During installation, I created 3 partitions:
- Under "/boot/" 1 GB (primary Ext2)
- Under "/" 30 GB (local Ext4)
- Under "/ home /" the rest of the place (local Ext4)
After the installation is completed, I go to the explorer and I see in the "Other places" tab only my 30 GB hard drive. At the same time, if you go into it and look at the properties of the /home/ folder, then it will say "Free 214 GB", i.e. the volume that I allocated under /home/.
Why isn't it on the drive list? How to add it there? And is it necessary? If not, how do I control free space on this local drive?

No need. This is not Windows and therefore it is advisable to read some articles on this topic.
You can see the free space with a command df -h
or through a graphical utility.
