How to make the generated SPA work not in the root of the site?

The bottom line is this - I generate SPA using Nuxt.js ( npm run generate ) to the /workbench/dist folder if you run the application from the folder itself, going to localhost/workbench/dist , for example, then the framework itself is drawn, components are generated, but interact with them it is impossible (events do not work or something else).
If the application is transferred to the root of the site, then everything works fine.
It doesn't give any errors in the console.
