How to make the correct directory structure and display different filters in bitrix?

There is the following directory structure:
- Cellular polycarbonate
- Monolithic polycarbonate
- PVC
--- foamed
--- rigid
...etc...
Each category has its own properties and parameters that should be displayed in the catalog filter.
Question : how to properly organize such a structure that fits the necessary conditions?
Do a separate infoblock with a set of parameters for each view ? If organized in this way, there will be no problems with setting up the typical functionality of an online store ?
And one more thing: since the goods have different sizes and, accordingly, prices, is it better to do this using trade offers? Or is there another way to implement it?

1. One infoblock and several sections and subsections.
The filter will display the properties of the elements that will be in the filtered section, even if all the elements are in the same infoblock.
It is reasonable to make different infoblocks when the goods are of radically different categories, for example, "TVs" and "Furniture".
2. If the same product can differ only in a property, such as Color or size, and / or price, such as Blue is more expensive than White, then it is reasonable to use trade offers. But you can not use trade offers if the price is the same for White and Blue. Then you can transfer the selected properties to the basket, for example, color, so that you can see it later in the admin panel.
PS: There may be some difficulties with setting up the filter, when filtering is used in one filter block both taking into account the product and taking into account the trade offer. Most often this is a problem with the logic and / or, as well as with incorrect counting of the quantity. I tend more often to the fact that if there is no need, then do not use product offers, since difficulties can and do happen.
