How to make sure that after deleting the android application, the cache is not cleared?

I am making the application for myself and I need the database not to be deleted after deleting the old version and installing the new one. In other words, I need to leave the application cache.

Public files: Files that should be freely available to other apps and to the user. When the user uninstalls your app, these files should remain available to the user. For example, photos captured by your app or other downloaded files should be saved as public files.
