Sorry for the noob question. I need to smoothly ignite 14 LEDs connected to the legs of an MSP430G2553.

LEDs all at the same time or in turn? Should the LEDs be controlled independently? If not, you can simply connect them together (parallel chains with resistors) and put one switch that connects to the hardware PWM.
