How to make single folder structure for dovecot?
Hello.
Installed a mail server bundled with VestaCP from exim, dovecot, spamassasin, roundcube. In general, everything works fine.
But people who use mail access their accounts from different clients: Mac Outlook, Windows Outlook, the standard program for iPhone, Android, roundcube and chaos is created in the directories.
A single folder, perhaps, only for incoming INBOX letters. Everything else is in disarray. Each mail program considers it its duty to create its own special spam folder, maybe .Junk, Junk, Spam, .spam, .Spam
. For outgoing mail, this can be Sent, Sent Items, Sent Emails, .Sent
. Similarly for folders with deleted letters.
At the very least, I would like the spam folder to be single, so that spamassasin's training can be set on it. And as a maximum, so that there would not be this heap of folders with letters smeared over them. Because when a person enters webmail roundcube, he is very surprised, for example, why there is no letter sent from the iPhone that he just wrote from the iPhone. And it is, just in daddy Sent items, which doesn't really stand out from the rest of the trash.
Perhaps there is some kind of global solution, or can dovecot be replaced in general?
