How to make OS see Mercusys MU6H?

OC: Debian 10
Kernel: 4.19.0-18-686-pae
Device: Mercusys MU6H

It was necessary to connect this whistle to a PC. I installed the driver version rtl8821CU, it was installed normally. At the same time, only two network interfaces remained in the ip a output: local and Ethernet. dmesg says it's a drive:

usb 1-5: New USB device found, idVendor=0bda, idProduct=1a2b, bcdDevice= 2.00
usb 1-5: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
usb 1-5: Product: DISK
usb 1-5: Manufacturer: Realtek

lsusb output:

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0bda:1a2b Realtek Semiconductor Corp.

Is there any way to make the OS see the adapter as a "network device" and not as a "drive"?

upd:
Installed usb_modeswitch and modemmanager, didn't help.
I tried loading the driver manually:
sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x0bda product=0x1a2b

A ttyUSB0 was created, which disconnected after 5 minutes, but dmesg made the following conclusion:
scsi 2:0:0:0: Direct-Access Realtek Driver Storage 1.00 PQ: 0 ANSI: 0 CSS

Also usb for some reason reboots sometimes:
usb 1-5: reset high-speed USB device number 6 using ehci-pci
.
I do not know, maybe because of this it is not determined, although it is unlikely.

The problem is still relevant.

The problem was solved by switching to Debian 11 and updating the kernel to 5.10. As I understand it, the 4.19 series kernel is not supported by 8821cu firewood in principle.

Try installing the modemmanager and usb-modeswitch packages, they just switch the usb device from storage mode to network device
