How to make microsoft IIS7.5 server accept session cookies?

Crashes on the site: Warning: session_start():.....
nothing is created on the server in the folder designated by session.save_path.
Where to dig?

PS If I don't set the session.save_path path, then everything is ok. It is understandable (everything is stored in the RAM)
