How to make Mathtype equation work in Microsoft Office for Mac 2016?

Good afternoon!
On Windows, I used Mathtype 6.9 to type formulas in reports and articles in Microsoft Word. I never thought that there would be problems with this when switching to macOS: Mathtype is installed, everything works in Pages, and Office 2016 does not see the installed Mathtype and does not open the formulas typed in it. In Office 2011 for Mac, Mathtype works, but there is no longer a familiar design and, most importantly, there are no such collaboration features.

Does anyone have experience with Mathtype on Mac? While I'm getting out of the situation through Windows in Paralells (
