How to make ie10 see conditional comments?
Good day everyone! I made a page, and I want to add a separate css for ie8 through conditional comments. I'm using ie11 in compatibility mode (I choose the 8th version), but nothing works. If you connect not through comments, then everything works. I know that from the 10th version they turned off support for the conv. comments, but don't they work for compatibility mode? How to check the layout in the 8th version as a result? I don't trust IE tester. Through Virtualbox? How true is he?

Virtual machines are everything.
1. VirtualBox
2. Parallels
3. VMware
Next, go here: https://dev.windows.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools...
Download a free VM with the required browser version and test it.
Virtual machines with IE are one of the most important tools for a front-end developer.
You are doing something wrong. In compatibility modes, conditional comments work great.
Effective January 12, 2016 - Microsoft is ending support for versions of Internet Explorer earlier than 11.
