How to make http request to YouTube API from Google Sheets?

I don’t know how to code, but I found a way to put the number of views from any video on YouTube into a google spreadsheet.
Function IMPORTDATA(link) < and put in the link gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos ..Channel ID...
The function returns the idea of CSV , but in reality it's just text (Xml), from which you can extract the necessary information by means google tables. The problem is that in 80% of cases this text either does not fit or spreads to neighboring cells. Who faced, tell me if there is a solution.
And another question, is it possible to extract the desired line from this xml using the ImportXML(link; request_xpath) function ? In place of x_path, I inserted the option that the Chrome console panel offers., But to no avail
