How to make friends MTP and Linux?

Greetings!
I will describe the history of the issue from the very beginning:
Father asked me to throw music on his push-button Nokia. Working system on the LinuxMint 17 desktop. I connected the phone with a cord - I merged the music on the microSD in the phone, I decided to check it out. Files are visible on the phone but play with audio stuttering. I changed the card to another one of a higher class, formatted the cards in the phone and on the desktop in different fs, changed the bitrate of the music - no effect.

  • I boot into Windows, I play music - everything plays fine
  • I boot back to Linux, upload it - again stuttering
  • I upload it to a USB flash drive via a card reader (in windows / linux) - everything is fine.
For the experiment, I connected my Lumia
  • I fill in Windows - the phone sees the files
  • I upload it to Linux - the files are transferred, in the explorer you can see that they are on a flash drive in the phone, but the phone does not see them
  • I upload it to a USB flash drive through a card reader (in windows / linux) - the phone sees the files

Obviously, there are some problems with the MTP connection mode in Linux, while the gMTP or Qlix utilities solve the problem for Lumia, but these are crutches.
In which direction to dig? Has anyone come across something similar? I would like to drag and drop files without unnecessary gestures.

As they say, Shoot him so that he does not suffer.
I fill in, pour out, a conductor in Linux ... remove Linux, install Windows and do not suffer. crutches is how you explain.

I have no problems with MTP with Android, have you tried to communicate with the developers, or at least write to the Mint/Ubuntu tracker?
