How to make friends display: table-cell + vertical-align: middle/bottom with position: absolute?

Hello. There is a need to attach the inner block to the outer one, which can change its height 100vh+. When anchored via absolute bottom:0 , when the height changes, the child element stays at the bottom of the old height.
Vertical-align: bottom + display: table-cell will work. But the parent block has position: absolute and these properties don't work together because position: absolute gives the block display: block. How to make friends or how to find the right way? Thank you.

What's wrong with Flex?
