I ran into a problem, I decided to turn here, for the first time I use such a bunch, but I would like to set it to automatically turn off the server by the way it starts running from the battery or by reaching a certain charge value in it. SuperMicro Sys-6028r-tr deployed Proxmox virtualization system. Has anyone done something similar and can give some advice?
PS There is no SNMP module on the UPS, the connection is via USB.

Connected via RS-232 (console) everything worked, though I had to pervert, download the lib32bz2-1.0_1.0.6-4_amd64.deb package. After that, the installation and configuration of UPSMON went fine.

I have a similar device, though on 2000VA, there were several modifications, when connected, the id in the lsusb output differs. So the problem is that you don’t understand my version of NUT from the word at all, but maybe you will be lucky. Another difference - one of the old modifications could not start itself without a kick after the appearance of power if there was no load hanging on its outputs, a tangible load.
Specifically, about proxmox - there is quite a debian inside, so you should not focus on this in terms of setting up NUT. But whether the hypervisor can stop virtual machines correctly is a question, it’s worth checking that virtual machines are turned off from the proxmox interface (not stop, but shutdown).
The key to success is the presence of qemu agent in the guest and the cocked qemu agent = yes option in the virtual machine settings.
