How to make automatic mounting not block system startup?

in LAN there are two computers
ubuntu server 14 - a server that sometimes wants to make a backup on an accessible computer in LAN
windows 8 - laptop. can be turned off, taken to the
/root/.smbcredentials village , this file contains the password and login from the windows 8 user

username=xxx
password=yyy

/etc/fstab
//ip.no.u.ta/путь/к/папке/на/ноутбуке/для/бекапов /путь/на/сервере/ cifs credentials=/root/.credentials

Now if you try to restart the server, if there is no laptop on the network, then the download stalls. And I want that if it was not possible to mount the disk, then as they wanted, backups will not be backed up, but the server should work.
drm:gen8_irq_handler [i915]*ERROR* The master control interrupt lied (SDE)
Starting virtual network devices
CIFS VFS: Send error in SessSetup = -13
CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -13
