How to make authorization in dle through a phone number?

How can I make sure that authorization and registration is using a phone number.
I myself study Laravel and it will not be difficult for me to do the same on it, but a friend asks me to implement it in DLE, and the DLE system is already ready, I just can’t get used to the code and screw it up there ...
