How to make animation smooth on mobile (gif,canvas,webGl?

Here is a site
It has 4 gif animations with a resolution of 720.
The last 5th animation is canvas, also 720px.
gif on ipad slows down a lot.
If you include only 1 gif, then it's normal, and if there are several, then lags.
How can you optimize the animation to be smooth?
I can use WebGl, but I don’t understand why it doesn’t plow on my computer.
