To quote from the Debian repository:
"Xoscope is a software oscilloscope that uses the sound
card input or EsounD and/or ProbeScope/osziFOX and will soon
support Bitscope hardware. Includes 8 waveform display,
time duration switch, math functions, memory,
magnitude measurements , and loading/saving to a file."
