How to make an "interactive" single-line substation diagram?
There is a single-line diagram of a distribution substation, quite developed. How to make it "interactive" on the monitor? That is, when the user changes the operational situation (shutdown, switching), this should visually change (color, animation) the overall picture. I think it's all in the ASKUE software, but we haven't matured yet. We have technical accounting and this is not the main thing. The main visual display of the operational situation created by the user, tips on the consequences of switching and the ability to update the scheme.

Usually machines have extra. contacts (on / off, turned off when overloaded), pull them to the controller (PLC), put SCADA on the computer, which interrogates the controller and draws animation.
There will be no hints, this is already an advanced algorithm (you can do it in any language if you have a head).
